Lovely welcoming staff. Good location near to restaurants and shop. Nice room, clean and spacious. Nice outdoor common space with seating, tables, tea/coffee communal fridge. Nice breakfast. Good value for money.

The location was amazing , the village where the lodge is like a hidden heaven. The accommodation had a really spacious room and had everything required. The rooms faced a common courtyard with games and a common kitchen. The breakfast served was simple and so kindly prepared by the staff. Plenty of things to do around to relax and for adventures. There was laundry facility too that helped us a lot . Plenty of restaurants around and the whole community works together to run the whole storms river village

The locations is perfect on the main street with restaurants and shops in walking distance. The place it self was quite clean and had a nice entertainment area and well as an open plan shared communal kitchen.

The grounds are lovely, and the kids had the best time. I am happy that fans were provided because it was very hot. It was also helpful to get a map of the various activities in the area. We enjoyed the games area, too.

What an experience! The property is absolutely stunning- you can clearly see the love and care that has gone into the rooms and the garden (so colourful with the different flowers!). The love shines through the staff as well- we felt extremely cared for, and goodness, the breakfast! It was the perfect meal to start off the day before exploring the Tsitsikamma area. The Village Lodge, you have truly stolen my heart and we cannot wait to return! We love and miss you Andy! We will bring some catnip when we return ;)

The location was amazing , the small storms river village transports u to a different world all together. Combined with the calm and peaceful stay at the lodge makes it perfect. We stayed there for 3 nights and the room was spacious enough and had all basic amenities. The morning breakfast was simple but made inhouse by the really friendly staff. There are plenty of restaurants around too

We were put into an upstairs wooden type room which was of poor quality . 2 glasses were supplied. 1 could handle a Gin & tonic 2nd one was useless as no bigger than a boiled egg cup! So we used coffee mugs to have Sun-Downers. The table and 2 outside chairs were positively filthy. We used the dishcloth to wash them. The Room was Chalk & Cheese by comparison to the other rooms we looked at the following morning..
