The property is very clean, staff very friendly, WiFi { internet } function very well, silent place, property is very near with a lot of restaurants, it is also very safe } security { property is very near to the beach

The service were incredible and the location is just 5 minutes walk to the forodhani market and the boats to Prison island. A very big thank you to Junior the receptionist who welcomed us warmly and helped us throughout our stay and even went an extra mile of finding us transportation. We will definitely come back on our next visit.

This is our 6th time to stay here! Junior and Shadya always give us a great welcome and are so helpful. Affordable, centrally located, near a beach, lively bars just atound the corner, 10 minutes walk to the night market and the same distance again to the ferry.

This hotel is quite old but the location for this price is unbeatable. The rooms still have original shutters. 1 minute to a beach. But about 5mins to a beach you can swim and the night food market The hotel had cameras throughout and as a solo traveller I felt very safe. The passages and the beautiful buildings are amazing. There are restaurants on the 1 minute beach walk with decent prices and a view for breakfast lunch or supper. I must add that this was my 4th hotel on my trip and the best bed out of the 4. I slept soundly and could take an afternoon nap

The location of the hotel is fantastic if you are in Stone Town. The rooms are clean, staff super helpful. Everything working in my room. The building tired and has problems with water soaking into the walls so some parts of the hotel look a bit tatty. The internet worked well, AC, fan and the place was clean. I will stay there again. It is excellent value for money.

What a fantastic stay at Kelele Square! The seamless internet connection made it easy to stay connected, the hot water was a godsend, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Their support made all the difference
