Exceptional service, even cooked & cut up a sausage at breakfast for my 2 dogs to share. Very clean & tidy, lovely garden and fab breakfast. Very nice friendly hosts, will recommend to anyone.

Needed a stop over half way through a 2 week holiday and was really happy we found Stoke House. Wonderful hosts, interesting and interested in people and places. Generous in room supplies, delightful breakfast, good size room for 3 people with lovely shower. Quiet hamlet away from main roads. So please we opted for here and not a larger hotel to have a restover.

Lovely countryside position but only about 15 minutes from Barnstaple. Comfy beds, good selection of teas and coffees with fresh milk provided on arrival. Good shower
