Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful. Had four electric chargers which was very helpful. Just what we needed for a quick trip. Can see being ideal for a wedding venue.

Our first visit and we will surely return! Beautifully set out with Christmas trees, extremely inviting setting, fireplace crackling in the lounge & even this late into the season the place is stunning! Greeted by warm and friendly staff, who were very informative & friendly! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are great, book and go see for yourselves you won’t be disappointed at all & enjoy the delicious food available, breakfast, lunch & dinner 5🌟

Warm welcome on arrival and help with luggage.Comfortable room , clean and very well appointed. Staff friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Delicious breakfast in lovely dining room.

The room was a beautiful combination of old world and period features but with all mod cons. I was expecting the decor to be tired from reading previous reviews but this was not the case at all, the bed linen, towels and toiletries were of a high standard and contributed to the lux feel.

A fabulous country house hotel. We had the maple suite great room with fantastic views. Very tasty food and well catered for being coeliac. Great staff very attentive and helpful. Great location and good history. Very tasteful decor.

Our room was perfect and had a nice sitting area on the balcony. In the evening we enjoyed a drink or two in the bar. Breakfast was great. We loved the room it was in and the pictures on the wall. Good choice for breakfast and great service. We enjoyed a nice stroll in the gardens after breakfast . It is unusual these days to have a lovely stay with no issues at all.
