We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and it will definitely be our go-to choice for future visits to Stockholm. The breakfast was excellent, and dinner was equally exceptional. However, the wine was quite overpriced. The sauna is a great facility, but it requires advance booking and key collection from reception. Overall, the hotel has a cosy and chic vibe, which adds to its charm.

This is such a lovely hotel with such a warm welcoming feel. The beds are amazingly comfortable. Our room was so quiet and peaceful. We both had the best nights sleep.

A modern and comfortable hotel located in the heart of the city. The noise isolation is excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay, and the room is equipped with all the essentials, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker for added convenience and style. The breakfast was truly outstanding, offering a variety and quality that felt on par with a top restaurant.

Two major details that made the experience bad for me: 1. No sauna without extra payment because I had booked the stay via Booking.com. Sad! 2. By paying just shy of 3000 SEK per night and not being served a cappuccino at the breakfast (again, one could have had it by paying extra) seems just sloppy for me. Instead, the coffee was one of these capsule coffee machines. Sustainability aside, nearly all visitors, as I could see, were having a learning curve to use this machine. I'd say this is just not acceptable for the price for night. There are 5-star hotels in Stockholm with the same price and with a very different service (for example At Six). Otherwise the breakfast was of quality. I have stayed several nights in all of the other Diplomat collection hotels in Stockholm (Villa Dagmar and Hotel Diplomat). I don't know if these other ones offer a sauna, but I can certainly recommend them otherwise. With my experience, both have also great views from their windows (not as at Villa Dahlia in which one must sadly watch into a dull courtyard). In general, Villa Dahlia offers pretty much the same as the other two but the restaurant in Villa Dahlia is smaller compared to them. It feels a bit cramped for me. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel (clean and very friendly staff) but just fixing these two I think my stay had been superior. Maybe small details to some, but important for me.
