We believe that dogs are part of the family and there is no need to leave any four-legged guests behind for your staycation. Charming pub in "chocolate box" (thatched cottages hudddled around a scenic church) country village. We had a cozy warm room upstairs in an annex building across the carpark - very welcome after a long journey with some unexpected delays. Excellent communcations with Shelley throughout. Delighted to see a kettle and fresh milk in the fridge! (especially as we stayed on the 1st Jan which meant there was no hot Dinner available. A practical and comfortable room with pleasant rural charm decor. Slept OK as we were super-tired but towards morning our backs were protesting slightly as the matrass did not have the best padding.

We arrived quite late in the afternoon, and was quickly checked in. We were able to join the dinner service last minute as we had forgotten to book a table. The food was delicious! Our room was cute and cosy whilst maintaining comfort.
