(Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund).Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 3 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged.Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56 - 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost.No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.From the age of 12 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodation. Parties with young children (under 12 years) will only be accommodated in private rooms, where availableHostelling Scotland advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Please note that the full amount of the reservation is due before arrival. will send a confirmation with detailed payment information. After full payment is taken, the property's details, including the address and where to collect keys, will be emailed to you.

Plenty of history relating to property displayed? Half way up the hill to the castle. Room spacious as I think this was accessible facility.

Location is superb just by the information center and near the castle. Its a old historical building and gives us a comfortable feel... The common area is big and wonderful and keep clean and equip with all you need to make your meals..

Amazing location just several steps from both center and Castle. The lady at the reception was very helpful (Wendy). The room was basic ,but it was expected considering the price

It does what it says on the tin. No frills. Good clean venue with helpful approachable staff. It was warn comfortable and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again.

I had to rearrange my booking at the absolute last minute and thought it too late but chanced asking. The wonderful Freya actioned my request quickly and was incredibly helpful. The staff are lovely here and the facilities are very clean.
