It was a great overnight stay at the King Robert Hotel, the hotel in general is very comfortable and the staff were first class. The hotel is a little tired in places, and very traditional which we didn't mind. The bar/restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent. The location is great if you enjoy history as the King Robert statue & visitor centre is right on your doorstep, the centre of Stirling is also only 10 minutes away. Would I stay there again...yes, we had a very nice stay.

The staff were great and they were so helpful and friendly. We were there with our dog, and being able to take him with us into the bar for dinner was great. The food was great quality and plenty of it. If we are down that way again, we would definitely return.

Good size comfortable rooms, which have all you need, nice that they have USB sockets too. It’s in a lovely location for getting out to visit the surrounding area. Then you can enjoy a lovely meal in the restaurant, great selection to choose from and cooked really well. Polite, pleasant very helpful staff, excellent value for money, we’ll come back here again.

When entering my room , it was clear that there was cobwebs around the ceiling as one came from roof to the wall light noticed it as I put the light on that’s when I saw more around the rest of ceiling.
