Bed and Breakfast Overview

Located in a winery, The Country Guesthouse offers luxury accommodation with extensive views of the countryside. It features a rustic restaurant, a wine cellar and an outdoor pool. Strand Beach is a 15-minute drive away.
The cottages and family suites feature a private bathroom and a satellite TV. Some feature a seating or dining area and a kitchenette.
A buffet breakfast is served daily using local produce. Guests can dine with views of Table Mountain at the 96 Winery Road restaurant, featuring a menu with a South African twist and wines to complement each meal.
Guests can sunbathe poolside, enjoy a drink at the unique outdoor lounge area, or walk through the tranquil gardens with stone pavement walkways.
Local activities include swimming, hiking and trail walking. Heidelberg Nature Reserve is a 10-minute drive away.
The Country Guesthouse is a 25-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport. An airport shuttle is available upon request. Free private parking is available at the B&B.

This large, air-conditioned cottage overlooks Table Mountain and features a seating area with a sofa bed, minibar and a satellite TV. Each has a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. BBQ/Braai facilities available on request. Please not that there is an option to put in 2 beds (and put out the large double) on request. The rates will be the same as the sharing rate for a large double bed booking.

This very spacious, air-conditioned suite overlooks the lake and pool area. It features a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, a dining area, fireplace and a satellite TV. Each has a private bathroom with a bath, shower and a toilet. Please note that the price is based on 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 4 (see Hotel Policies).

Guests will have a special experience as the double room features a fireplace. Providing free toiletries, this double room includes a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. We were greeted with a big smile At reception. The wine waiter in the restaurant recommended a reasonably expensive wine but asked if we would like to try it first! It was delicious and we went to the vineyard the next day and bought a case! Our waitress was very jovial and efficient. The food was delicious. Great atmosphere. What more could one want?

It is a repeat visit. Of all the places close by, we love this Guest House. Latoya is a gem. So friendly and helpful, ALL THE TIME.

We stayed at the Country Guesthouse with family and friends for two nights to attend a wedding at Cavalli nearby. It’s was the perfect location and LaToya went out of her way to make sure everything worked smoothly for us. It was a lovely stay, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast with excellent coffee! We hope to be back

Excellent service. The cleaning and maintenance as well as the restaurant staffs are courteous, friendly, and highly efficient. The ladies at reception made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating. The room was spacious with a very spacious bed, and the view from the room over the vineyards is just glorious (as seen in the photos). The pool is big enough and well maintained. With many foreign tourists we enjoyed the added entertainment of a local minstrel band on NYE - even had one of the waitresses joining in to dance to the music. The spirit of Cape Town.
