I cannot express how much our stay exceeded our expectations. We booked a last minute trip on our way back to Cape Town Airport, having spent Christmas with family elsewhere. Staying at Gemoedsrus Farm was a real treat - the house is absolutely stunning, facilities excellent, staff welcoming, views phenomenal. For the price we paid, this all came at exceptional value. Linda (owner of the property) is a wonderful lady, and we felt privileged to stay with her. There are so many wine farms, both famous and lesser known, within a very short driving distance, and Ubers/taxis are readily available in the area. We will definitely look to rebook on our next visit.
