“comfortable and relaxing stay, away from the chaos”

Location was great - peaceful yet a reasonably short journey to the wine farms we wanted to visit. A handy supermarket nearby, which meant we didn't need to drive all the way into Stellenbosch. Layout of lodge is perfect for a getaway, and the kitchen came kitted out with plenty of utensils, as well as salt/pepper/cooking oil etc.

The house was nicely decorated with an attention to details. The outdoor area opens to a beautiful garden. A swimming pool was a benefit on a hot day.

The pool (to be heaten with fuel wood which is available for free!) is extremly nice, the location perfect for the winelands arround Stellenbosch and the Devonvale Golf course.
