Great location just off Dorp str which can be noisy.. this hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable with an old world / antiquey charm. Themba at reception was very welcoming and helpful at all times, parked the car inside for us at night and brought it out whenever we needed it.

Everything!! All the staff, especially Temba, who is so helpful, efficient and friendly. The breakfasts were exceptional!! The location is wonderful - Batavia is situated in a quiet street, but within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Stellenbosch museum ( which well worth a visit) . Would definitely stay at Batavia Boutique Hotel again.

Location excellent - can walk within minutes to shops and restaurants. Large well furnished room with antiques and chandeliers. Very comfortable king sized bed. Good breakfast with plenty of fruit and hot options. Safe secure parking.

It is a unique beautiful colonial property with fabulous ornaments, artwork and furniture, every room makes a statement and is tasteful and distinctive. I also have to mention the most beautiful bathroom I have ever seen !!!

Superb little Gem of a place - we were so delighted with EVERYTHING! Service, Courtesy, comfort, you have it all here. A perfect little oasis and fantastic location for enjoying the town both during the day and night. We felt very safe and very looked after. Breakfast was exquisite.
