We had a spectacular time over the festive season!! The property is ideal for a long or short getaway with all the amenities you need, as well as stunning mountain views and a lush garden. The space is clean, comfortable, central, and so inviting. We were welcomed with bubbly, beautiful fresh cut flowers and christmas treats to celebrate the festive season... which made working over the holidays a pleasure. We hope to be back soon :)

I loved everything about Arkelshoek .The setting. The Cottage was very well equipped. Lovely Garden.Close to all amenities. THE Mountains was just awesome. I felt at home.The owners are very special people and attended to my every need.Thank you Brit..I will visit again.

The area is beautiful. The house was very clean, neat and tastefully decorated... it felt like a colourful and happy home! The lounge suite and beds are extremely comfortable and the house is superbly equipped with every thing you need, and more! Fire place was great and enjoyed the free wood and wine. All in all, it lends itself to a very comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.

This was an amazing location. Not far from the hustle of the town and the university but completely secluded and peaceful. It was near the Jonkershoek nature reserve where you can do MTB and hikes in the mountain, very stunning. The cottage itself was very charming, clean, simple and in keeping with it's farm surroundings. The bed was very comfortable. The Cape Canary cottage has it's own private garden, an indoor, enclosed patio where you can have a fire and enjoy the garden view.

Owl house at Arkelshoek is beautiful and really spacious, perfect for a family getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. The garden was beautifully manicured and well kept. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding provided was of premium quality.

Cape Cuckoo cottage is in a beautiful location on a farm with a peaceful and spacious garden. The cottage itself is impeccably clean, and Brit has equipped it with great thought and care – it has everything one could need. The fresh flowers, wine and rusks are such a lovely touch; the experience as a whole was memorable and restoring. This was my second stay and I will definitely be back.
