Booked with very short notice. Building was full of character. Room was quite basic but had the amenities one would expect. Would definitely stay again

The hotel was lovely, really clean, staff were really nice and really easy check in process. The food and drinks were expensive - but the food was lovely. And the bar staff were really nice and couldn’t do enough. The garden area is gorgeous, the grounds throughout are beautifully maintained. We had a superior double and it was a huge room looking over the garden and really quiet. There’s a garage across the road and other than that there didn’t appear to be much to walk to. We were only here for a night, but we would definitely book again if we were in the area

Beautiful building. Spacious and clean rooms. Shower was superb, along with heated towel rail and bathroom floor. Restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast.

A very good place for an overnight stay. We had a good sized room with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was good with a large walk in shower. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, all in all a very positive experience. There was a large, free car park.

The room was really stylish and comfortable and in a quiet setting (even heard birdsong in the morning .very relaxing!) The bed wasn't the best as could have done with a mattress topper as felt every lump and bump. Otherwise everything provided in the room was great. Staff were very welcoming . Didn't have food but hopefully next time.

Greet location. Comfy rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast very nice. Had dinner in the restaurant last-minute and the food was very good. Nice drinks. Highly recommend the family rooms as they are extremely spacious and have a slightly separated area for children/parents. Only downside is our room had no bath which is fine for us but may be tricky for very young children.
