The rooms are lovely, clean and with excellent facilities. Location wise it’s ideal for Staplehurst station where there is great parking to get to London. The food and breakfast is really good but the jewel in the crown is the friendliness and warm welcome you get in this family run pub. I cannot overstate how lovely and welcoming the owners are. This was my second stay there and by far the best place I’ve found so far in Kent.

The couple who run the inn are lovely and welcoming. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Dinner was tasty and freshly prepared. There's plenty of parking and there's even a play area for kids in the garden.

The room was clean and spacious with a good bathroom. The pub has excellent food and a good choice of refreshments. The jewel in the crown was the amazing welcome and friendliness of the staff. I cannot overstate how amazing the staff and owners were and I never expected to be playing card games with the locals in such a warm, inviting and impressive pub. In the words of Arnie, I’ll be back!

The rooms are in chalets at the bottom of the pub garden. Clean, comfortable, spacious. Friendly staff in pub, generous breakfasts. Particularly liked the sitting area in front of the rooms. Ideal for a stopover in Kent
