It was a perfect place if you want to unwind from the busy city schedule. Madeleine is a perfect host. She is very accommodating, friendly and the breakfast she prepared for us was always fresh and so yummy!

We loved our stay at Big Fella. It felt like home for a couple of nights as we stoked the fire and Madeleine our host was so friendly and delightful, we loved chatting to her and can't wait for the cellar door to open!

Madeline was a wonderful hostess. It felt like we were visiting friendly family. Breaky was spot on every day, the fireplace was always roaring, and there were heaters and electric blankets in our room which was brilliant when the temperature dropped below 3 degrees. It was homely and comfortable, and we would definitely stay again.

The food was lovely, each morning there was something different, cooked to order and made to feel very special. Large range of breads, local preserves etc

Madeleine was an amazing host, her and her family really made us feel welcome. The view from the from the entrance was such a beautiful view. The rooms were so comfortable and inviting :). Everything pretty and clean. The breakfast was top quality fresh food from their own produce or local. Thank you for the stay :)
