Amongst idyllic countryside and only 2 minutes’ drive from J27 of the M6 motorway and is surrounded by the Lancashire countryside. Near the hospital, so convenient for us. Well- furnished & modern. Evening meal was delicious & perfectly cooked. Breakfast was good too, apart from lack of brown/granary bread.

Enjoyed the whole experience , found the breakfast a little expensive. Thought it was included in the £125 deal for the night , but cost another £32.

We're annual visitors to Wigan, and normally stay at this hotel. No problems, lovely hotel, and this time used the swimming pool whiich was very nice. Also the breakfast service has improved since last visit. Overall a bit expensive for location but all hotels seem to be getting expensive.

Hotel was very nice, well staffed and had amazing facilities. Spa and swimming is perfect for family trips. Pricing was great. Room service was very good, food was excellent. The room was huge! very well organised and lots of space for little ones to run round.

Everything about the hotel was great. Only stayed overnight whilst on our way to lake windermere. Didn't get to use the spa facilities but the room was clean, modern, fresh and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Will definitely return if travelling in this area again.
