Apartment Hotel Overview

The Mini Beach Hotel (former Maraka’s Beach) is situated right on the beach of Stalos, boasting an outdoor swimming pool.
Our hotel consisted of 9 tastefully decorated rooms opened out onto a balcony with partial or direct view to the beach or the garden. All the units include a modern bathroom with hairdryer, slippers, bathrobes and free toiletries as well as a safe box, free WI-FI and a mini-fridge.
Our guests can enjoy a nutritious breakfast with fresh local ingredients, served every day at the gazebo right above the beach. Free sunbeds and sun umbrellas are available only for our guest’s right on the beach in front of our hotel. Parking is also provided, based on the availability.
Chania’s airport is located approximately 20 km away from our accommodation and Chania’s old town alongside to Venetian Old Port is 7, 5 km away.

What we liked: - proximity to the beach; - very clean room and premises; - the products they used were of good quality: the butter was Lurpak, the coffee was nespresso, the bread was wholemeal and the list can go on; - quite an intimate atmosphere; - you can hear the sea from your room and in most rooms you can even see it from bed; - each room has a small, private terrace with a table and 2 chairs; - the breakfast was tasty, good and simple; - they lent us an umbrella to use for the remote beaches; - the staff offered us precious info and advice on traveling and visiting around; - the rooms were cleaned daily; - the staff was amazingly friendly, polite and helpful, especially Katerina.

Katerina warm and welcoming. Few steps down to beach. Good breakfast with plenty of fresh orange juice, cold meats, cucumber, tomatoes, cheeses, boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, fruit, cakes, croissants and delicious jams, honey plus daily specials. Easy bus ride to Chania. Lots of local restaurants. Recommend room 8 with double balcony overlooking sea. Fabulous sunrises.

A wonderful small hotel with an extremely kind and helpful team. A real little paradise, a perfect place to relax and recharge, even in the middle of August, the beach was quiet and calm. Beautifully furnished room overlooking the sea and a magical atmosphere. Delicious breakfast that meets all needs. There are several great restaurants nearby for a cozy dinner with real Cretan delicacies. We enjoyed every moment of our vacation. We will definitely be back as soon as possible! Thank you Katerina and your team! 🙏🏼☺️🤩

The Mini Beach Hotel is a extraordinary beautiful place. The owner and the whole staff make you feel incredibly welcome and provide heartwarming service and good breakfast (directly at the beach). Can recommend for anybody who is out for a pleasant beach hotel!

everything is as it should be, the staff is incredibly kind, the location is very good. I visited the famous places with turquoise beaches, but I came to the conclusion that the private beach that the hotel has is much more relaxing. I recommend eating at Kosmas Tavern
