The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels provided. All staff friendly and helpful. The room was warm. Good in the pub was good.

We didn't stop for breakfast had to leave early. We were going to the Staffordshire showground so brilliant location for that. The food served was excellent for our evening meal We had a blue burger which was hand made! We loved it here so much we are going back for a weekend break in the near future!

Not our first stay here. With good basic accommodation and no breakfast other than oat pots if you want them it's perfect for us as exhibitors getting to Stafford Showground before car movement stops. The bar has a well stocked and well kept cellar. Never eaten here but it is very popular.

Room was really comfortable and clean with everything we needed and staff so welcoming and same for locals and food was absolutely stunning and reasonably priced same with the pints

Friendly little pub near to Cannock Chase where we were horse riding early the next day. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pizza we had was properly home made. Apart from the trains which I found surprisingly soothing ( it’s right next to the track) it was very quiet at night and I slept well.

Like the location well laid out friendly staff nothing was to much trouble would stay again and recommend to friends and family Breakfast you can have porridge pot add hot water Coffee and Tea There was recorded to us a good meal pub The Sun about 10 mins away just off roundabout near the story Car Park good quality
