Our host Celeste looked after us really well. Lovely lady! The room was spacious and clean. The garden is lovely and tranquil with a pool if you wish to swim. Celeste made us feel very welcome, and she serves up an amazing breakfast in the morning. She has a small bar serving from 6 pm - 9 pm. The location is quiet with St. peters port 30 mins walk away, or you can catch a bus or taxi. Fermaine Bay is beautiful, and the road is opposite the Fermaine pub, just 5 minutes walk to the pub and cross over the road and follow signs to the beach although walking it is a little steep down and up. Take hiking sticks if you have them, or get a cab to drop you down there if you have mobility problems as there is no parking at the bay, just drop offs. A kiosk selling food and drink is there, plus toilets and a seating area. There is Samarez Gardens a short walk away that is nice and relaxed and serves up some great food. If you get the Guernsey app on your phone, it tells you about beaches to visit, bus numbers to catch, tides, weather and what amenities are available, plus whether they are easily accessible or not. The app also points out walks to take if you are a bit of a hiker. Herm is worth a visit on a nice day. You can catch the 20-minute journey by ferry from St. peters port. Sark is also close by.

Very nice small hotel, peaceful and good location. Walking distance to the cliff path and bus route to town and airport. Highly recommended.
