The location was lovely and quiet, close enough to town. The host is considerate, very helpful and his knowledge of the surrounding flora and fauna is intriguing. The garden is lovely. It's just a lovely spot with a lovely host.

Secure location, the little bungalow was comfortable for 2 people and had everything we needed while we suffered from jetlag, it was well equipped and clean. Wifi was good, bathroom perhaps a bit tight for bigger people, but very suitable for us. We liked the fitted insect screens in the bathroom. Unfortunately the resident hippos didn´t show during our 3 nights. St Lucia is a nice little town with a few basic restaurants. Best thing we did was to drive to iSimangaliso Wetland Park, west and east, in our 2 WD car. Different wildlife on each side and very rewarding.

My accommodation in San Lucia exceeded my expectations by far. I was accommodated in a beautifully furnished little hut. The surrounding garden was beautiful and lovingly maintained. The owner Andre was very hospitable and gave me important helpful information. The price-performance ratio was very good. I had a great time in Lake St Lucia Lodge. Thank you very much

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The friendly owner provided valuable information during our stay and the lodge was situated close to the restaurants and cafes but far enough to avoid potential crowds at the main street. A hidden gem in St. Lucia. Can recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Andre, for a very comfortable stay!
