The location was perfect. The decor was modern, cohesive, and consistent. The room had everything that I wanted. The linens were clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a mountain of pillows. Terre served an excellent breakfast, and the Terre cafe made superb lattes as well.

I first stayed at the ALT in Halifax, stayed at the St Johns branch in 2023, around Halloween, so when I had a chance to stay here again in October 2024, there was only one choice as far as I was concerned. I can't recommend these hotels enough, They're modern, stylish, nest and clean. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud, and they come with plenty of big floofy pillows. The St Johns hotel is within a few minutes walk of a bunch of bars and restaurants, a slightly longer walk of 5 or 10 minutes will take you to George Street and all the bars and restaurants you could possibly need.
