The location in particular is beautiful,even with the Cornish mizzle the beach was exceptional & with an appearance of seals in the bay it was extra special,we had been in Falmouth for 2 nights,very keen to extend for another night.we booked a junior suite in the main house,the room was a fair size but having come from a suite triple the size in Falmouth it felt like a downgrade for an increased cost but as they say Location Location Location is key,sadly in the evening settling for a cosy evening in our room suddenly voices were heard like an extra person was in the room so it appears sound proofing is lacking. We discussed with reception our dismay at hearing a child’s voice coming through to ours (we were child free) & our dilemma was swiftly addressed with a beach front upgrade. For a couples retreat I’d strongly recommend the suites on the beach they are heavenly but double the cost of main house

From the moment we checked in, all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, in particular the lovely lady on reception who helped us find a space to park and then changed my room booking as I had booked a studio away from the main hotel (this wasn't clear on booking.com). We were there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and everyone made him feel very special.

My favourite hotel in the world. I stay here as often as I can with young child. The location is everything and the the guests are usually pleasant people.
