Hotel Overview

Hotel Vadian Garni is set in 2 separate historic buildings, with the hotel dating back to 1904 and the annex to the 16th century, this 2-star-superior hotel is located in the old centre of Sankt Gallen, just steps away from the Abbey Library, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.
A flat-screen TV with a wide choice of international channels is standard in each room. The private bathrooms are also fitted with a hairdryer. Hotel guests can relax in the hotel courtyard with a free cup of coffee or tea (self-service). Guests can enjoy a restaurant meal on Friday and Saturday evenings at our partner restaurant from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Please note that reservations are required.
The studios are located in a separate appartment builiding opposite the Einstein Congress Center, about 100m from the hotel. The studios feature a living / sleeping area with a kitchenette. It has a private entrance and small balcony.

From memory I think this was rated as a two star hotel - in my opinion it deserves a minimum three star rating. Our room (304) was not big but comfortable and very quiet. The bed very comfortable and the bathroom spotless as new. There was an all day free tea/coffee in courtyard area on level -1. The best at the end: the buffet breakfast one of the best I experienced.
