The property is not cheap because it is in St Andrews. Unfortunately it lacks atmosphere and facilities. The menus are limited, and at £10 a sandwich more effort could have been made. Cheap white bread, skimpy meat and a few crisps thrown on the plate! It totally lacks finesse. However breakfast was really good and the most enjoyable part of our stay. Having said that, Lee who worked in The bar was super. He’s the reason we stayed to eat in the hotel instead of heading in to town. Before he started work the service was just not good enough. He brought some ceremony to our stay. However We wouldn’t go back until they modernise their approach and step up the guest experience.

Excellent hotel ideally placed on the outskirts of St Andrews. Lovely food plus very helpful staff made this the perfect place for our weekend visit. Will definitely return.

Amazing customer service, I took my daughter here for her 19th birthday, the staff are attentive and went the extra mile for Emily's birthday , special thanks to Liam and Fi for their amazing personal touch of a cake and for being genuinely lovel.
