Located within the 1700 year old UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace in Split, Golden Gate Rooms offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi access.

Location is great, just inside the walls of the old Town. The room was clean and big, with a little balcony with a view to the bell tower. The bed was super comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful. I had a great stay! I would certainly go back!

Even though you are in an old building, the interior is all new and spotlessly clean. There is beautiful well-equipped shared kitchen. The shower was strong and plenty hot! I only got to stay one night but wish I could have stayed much longer.

The hostal is located inside the palace which is quite cool. The host is very nice and introduced the area in details when I arrived. The room has everything I need and it is great that i can cook there. Overall it is good value for money.
