Rastoni is a part of a small village,Spili, mountain area , fresh air, a mixture between mountain and sea, sleep over the night at mountain, spend the day at the beach.You can find everything you need in this village, restaurants, shops, supermarket, hospital, police office, post office.The distance between Rastoni and the beaches is 30- 60 minutes driving, depend which beach is your choice, and are a lot of beaches, we was every day in other one, Preveli, Ligres, Matala,Triopetra, Frangokastello .Dimitris the owner of Rastoni was every morning at the location and give us a lot of informations about Cretan people life. Diana , the lady which prepare the breakfast and clean the rooms is a working woman, everything is clean and fresh, the breakfast is very good, a lot of food, fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, Greek yogurt. We visited Rethymno , Heraklion and Chania, with their old city area, venetian port and more other archeological zones. But I was very impressed about the south Cretan roads which crossed the mountains, spectacular views. I tell nothing about colour of sea because everybody knows why Greece is the choice for millions of people every year Isn't it?

The pool area and views are incredible and provided a perfect spot to unwind after exploring the nearby villages and beaches. Dimitri’s tips were excellent.

We love Rastoni’s. We’ve been visiting for years to simply use the wonderful pool, this was the first time we stayed in one of the apartments there. The room was clean, well-maintained, practical, air conditioned and a great price. Plus Dimitri and the staff are excellent.

Amazing location, a piece of heaven on earth. The swimming pool was beautiful. Hosts where great. The rooms where basic, but functional with everything you need in it.
