An excellent base and location for sightseeing around Spetses. Room no 29 was so lovely with a balcony overlooking down to the sea. This Family Run hotel is a shining example to bigger corporate chain hotels, in how to make guests feel at home! Nothing was too much for any of the staff and owner! Breakfast delightful, they even left us a bottle of bubbles for our wedding anniversary! If I had my time all over again, i would choose to stay right there in room 29 only for more time.... Thanks, Kastro for your welcoming first-class hospitality!

From start to finish Kastro hotel was amazing. Its just a 5 minute walk from the port, rooms are big and spacious, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, they offered home made jams, cakes, breads to die for !! Also had the option for eggs, bacon etc. The pool and bar was spotless, very relaxing. Christiana was just a super host, she informed us of a strike with the ferry company the day we were due to leave. She organised a different way for us to get to athens airport. Christiana dropped us to the ferry that morning and made us all packed lunches, she really is the best.

All of the staff at the hotel were kind and friendly, particularly the lady on reception. The Hotel was extremely clean, the rooms were exactly what I need and a great location with a view to the sea from parts of the hotel. It was also really quiet here and made for a wonderful stay.

The location is excellent, walking distance to the main part of town, little beaches and bakeries and cafes, but very quiet. The grounds are perfectly kept and orderly, with relaxing areas to sit around the pool or have breakfast. The breakfast was great! Our room was spacious and bed comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and felt very looked after by the friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, warm and helpful. Certainly the best experience of my life. Our room was clean and big. Breakfast was great. The location is also very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay a lot!
