It was an actual grand hotel as the name says. For the price, it's very comfortable and had great bathroom with amazing view of the dead sea. The food was okay, not very good. The bathroom was pretty big and luxurious and also our room.

Location. Experience on floating in dead sea. Helpful staff. The hotel is pretty. Hotel put up nice Christmas decorations. Restaurant food was decent.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible! The food was delicious, and the hotel itself was simply amazing. The view from our room, overlooking the Dead Sea and with a stunning view into Palestine, made our stay even more remarkable. It’s a sight we’ll never forget! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel truly cared for. The location was superb—everything we wanted to see and do was so close by, making it easy to explore the area. We also enjoyed the live music in the evenings, which added such a lovely atmosphere to the hotel. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I absolutely loved my time here and will definitely be back when I visit Jordan again. Highly recommend this hotel!

Staff at Grand East (that's the new name for the East Hotel) raise the bar and try hard to deliver the best service possible. Special thanks to Suwad at the check-in /reception who gave us a lovely room and to Mohammad who drove the buggies to the Dead Sea Beach area, both were very kind and gracious. Mohammad jump-started my car battery with electric plugs after driving the hotel van close to my vehicle, connecting the plugs to my car battery etc; as it had drained dead (post leaving the headlights on). Everyone is very kind at The Grand East and extremely helpful. The life gaurd made sure, I got my swimming trunks and got a chance to float in the dead sea...we squeezed that in just before closing time. He organized Mohammad to come take me from the beach area to the reception in the golf buggie...just in time. Impeccable service (several instances of how Grand East staff strive hard to make guests smile). I have not seen such a high level of service in the hotel industry in a long, long time. The hotel although old is spotless. Breakfast service is not bad - they have a lot on offer.

The location is perfect, with a nice big beach with just sand and no rocks. The breakfast buffet has a very wide selection. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I liked the spaciousness of their lobby area. While the rooms are still quite expensive, they're the cheapest option on the dead sea.

Fantastic facilities, 3 pools, slides, zip line, private beach with shuttle. Very large, comfortable and clean room. Food was reasonably priced and good quality. One of the chefs cooked me a tagliatelle in a mushroom cream sauce which was nice. The lifeguard on the beach was doing a great job, going above and beyond taking pictures of people on the Dead Sea Hotel is actually the Grand East Hotel, this caused us to not be sure if we had the right property at check in.

Large rooms, good beds. Fantastic pools and excellent staff. Daily buffets are worth the price. Small walk to the beach or with a small electric car.

Awesome hotels with all the amenities and wonderful facilities. You have plenty of swim pools and also access to the Dead Sea. It is one of the best hotel I ever stayed.
