Our room was comfortable and clean and a very nice bed But we thought that breakfast was included in the price but it wasn’t so found it to be a little expensive for a room overnight ! We did have an English breakfast each which I wouldn’t rate at all, fried eggs were not cooked properly beans done in the microwave and sausages weren’t good ! Wouldn’t choose it again very disappointed as would probably stay at the hotel again but not for breakfast

The location of the hotel is walking distance from Southend Central Station. Our stay at The Seven Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive team, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout our visit. The restaurant was outstanding—our compliments to the chef! The food was top-class, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. We ordered breakfast to our room, it was delicious! And served hot. The bar staff also deserve a special mention for crafting some of the most amazing cocktails we’ve ever had. The rooms were spotless, with impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Every member of the team seemed genuinely happy, adding to the hotel’s warm and inviting ambiance. Overall, the Seven Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. A perfect blend of luxury, service, and atmosphere—we can’t wait to return!

The room was tiny. The car park is very small. We loved location the staff were very friendly. Having a restaurant and bar onsite was great.

It was very close to the town centre and the pier but was quiet outside. Breakfast wasn’t included but was decent value and of excellent quality. Bar was well stocked and was open any time we needed it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All seemed to know what they were doing, service was great.

Comfortable, quiet and tasteful. I appreciated the discreet feel of the hotel, nicely equipped room with bright spacious bathroom. I was fortunate to have a sea view, which was a welcome sight on a sunny morning.
