Please note that on-site parking is available for guests only at an extra cost and subject to availability. Limited parking throughout September due to the Southampton International Boat Show.Please inform the property if any of the guests are children, so the rooms can be set accordingly.Please note additional beds are subject to availability and by prior arrangement. The standard double bedrooms cannot accommodate an extra bed.The times for children using the swimming pool will be as follows: 8am – 9.30am (last entrance will be 9am) 4pm – 7pm (last entrance will be 6.30pm), and on weekends 8am – 11am (last entrance will be 10:30am) 4pm – 7pm (last entrance will be 6.30pm)If you are booking the dinner, bed and breakfast rate, please contact the property prior to arrival to arrange timings for the dinner reservation.Please be aware that any special dietary requirements need to be mentioned in advance to avoid the delay in any sittings.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The twin room I had was a great size, the tea and coffe was stocked very well which was nice. It had a mini fridge and both sparkling and still water for an evening drink and the shower was good. The TV was fantastic being able to cast my own shows direct to it, I haven't seen that before at other hotels but I really appreciated being able to do that and the wifi was solid to do it without any issues. The location was fine for my needs, it is right in the middle of Southampton by the ports (saw some cruise ships) and it was a short walk to the Westquay shopping area with all the food places as well as shopping and cinema. The breakfast was decent but it's your standard buffet style hot and cold breakfast that you would find when staying in most hotels. The evening meal we had was also nice and the service was good. The spa area was lovely. They had nice changing rooms and the pool was lovely and at a great temperature to swim around in. The hot tub, sauna and steam room were in good condition and made it a very relaxing stay.

Leonardo Royal hotel is lovely and in an excellent location. Rooms were quiet, couldn't hear any noise [apart from the traffic] like some hotel rooms. Room was nice and big with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

The room was spacious and clean with comfy beds. The hotel was really beautiful with great access to facilities such as a bar, pool and gym. The wifi was fast and could easily stream to the TV. Only 5-10 walk to major shopping centre, food court and bars.

The facilities were clean and pretty. I loved the attention to detail in the decor, in particular where breakfast was served. The lobby had sufficient seating and the views from the glass lift were spectacular! The spa facilities served my needs well and was not too busy.

Lovely room with super comfy bed. Staff were polite and professional. Pool was good (didn't get to indulge in other spa facilities) and breakfast was good!

Great room fantastic comfy bed and lovely surprise with the free prosecco , wine , cake and chocolates for my partners birthday... she was very happy.. lovely staff all in all a great place to stay
