Dar Badiaa is one of the nicest houses I have ever been to. It is a wonderful Andalusian dar that reminded me of dars and riads in Marrakesh. It is wonderfully preserved and restored with a lot of beautiful antiquities and details. The house is a true historical jewel! The room and the traditional Tunisian bed were comfortable. The bathroom is simple, but serves its purpose. The breakfast was more than good, with a variety of local Tunisian food freshly prepared by a nice breakfast lady. Dar Badiaa is situated in a lovely and authentic alley in the wonderful Medina of Sousse. I would always return there!

Perfectly located at the heart of the old town. Very quiet (although the muezzin of the nearby mosque did his best to break the silence). The room was clean and very picturesque. Lots of blankets available to fight low temperatures during the night. Good breakfast. Amazing and colorful terrace!

Beautiful place with stunning rooms, very clean, great location - it’s easy to get around walking to the Medina, the beach and to experience the real Sousse. Our bed was very comfortable, the shower has good water pressure and was hot and the double room was very spacious and lovingly decorated. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast excellent. We can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful, comfortable, friendly property right in the centre of the Médina. We loved everything about it. Comfy beds, the decor, the terrace, the breakfasts were immense. And the best bit, the owners were just amazing, treated us like family and made everything so easy. I can’t wait to go back

Beautiful restored old medina house with amazing terrace views. Quiet location, with easy access. Host is very accessible via whatssap and accommodated to my check in and payment times, he also gave recommendations for food nearby. Room was full of character and bed very comfortable; only downside was the upholstery could really use a good vacuum. Be aware this is cash only at property regardless of what Booking.com may say. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Very friendly helpful staff. Charming place with lovely sunny and shady terraces. Good shower. Wonderfully quiet (apart from the occasional call to prayer).

The owner's hospitality was simply wonderful. They treated us as if they were treating family and friends. I have stayed at many hotels in the past, but I have never experienced such a welcome.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was just perfect, and we didn’t miss a thing. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We would love to come back!
