Lara “Great location, very clean and modern apartment in the heart of Sorrento town”

The location was right in the middle of town so very convenient to get to restaurants, the ferry and other amenities. The rooms seemed very new, were well furnished and very clean. They are also a good size with enough room for a couple of suitcases. My husband and I stayed in one room and my three kids in another room. Their room still had enough room with the 2 beds and sofa bed plus 3 large suitcases. The bathroom was a very good size with a large double shower. We were met in a piazza close by and walked to the guest house. It is located in what I think is a residential building and the third floor is all Maison Blu Apartments. It is a quiet building, we didn't see many other people whilst there. There was a little noise in the street below at night from the restaurants and people walking by but it did not interfere with sleep at all.

Maison Blu was a fantastic guest house for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children aged 11, 13 and 15 years) in late September 2024. Federica (the host) met our driver at a piazza in Sorrento and we walked a short distance (a few minutes) with our suitcases to the property. The location right in the town centre was fantastic and the property looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The rooms were very new, are well decorated and very clean. They are also a very good size and the bathrooms were fantastic. The shower was a double shower with good pressure and very large. Some of the other bathrooms and showers in the places we have stayed in Italy have been tiny. We had two rooms for the first two nights (2 in one room, and 3 in the other) and then moved into the Cornelia Suite for the final 2 nights. All the rooms we stayed in were of the same quality and standard. The Cornelia Suite has a kitchen which we didn't use but if you wanted to make your own food that would be very handy. The three kids slept on the mezzanine level and my husband and I slept on the sofa bed which was large enough for both of us. The tv also allowed us to log in to netflix and there was free wifi. The rooms were also serviced daily. The property is only a few minutes walk away from the main square and an easy 10 minute walk to the port to catch the ferries to Capri, Amalfi, Positano, etc. We were close to the restaurants and shops and couldn't have stayed in a better spot. The negatives are that there is no breakfast available as it is not a hotel so you have to source all your own meals. It is just a floor of rooms on the third level of a building which I think may have residents in it also, although I'm not sure as I didn't see many other people. Also, I think it is a little expensive for just a room only accommodation but I would recommend Maison Blu to anyone looking to stay in Sorrento as on the whole I would rate it 9/10.

The accommodations resembled a luxurious hotel, with daily room cleanings and fresh towel replacements. Rosanna exhibited exceptional professionalism and charm. Maison Blu is conveniently situated in the bustling center of Sorrento, close to all amenities. Honestly, I enjoyed everything.
