This hotel was just beautiful, as soon as we walked through the doors and were greeted by the friendly staff I felt so happy that we had chosen this hotel. It has a luxurious and classic Italian feel, and the views are spectacular. We had a suite and it was a great size, it was pristine and it was kept this way thanks to the amazing maids. The hotel is immaculately clean. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the tasting menu which was superb, they had live music on that evening which was so lovely, they even sang directly to us at our table which was an experience. It’s a really good location, just a short walk from the main square and there are some lovely restaurants on the same road, as well as a beautiful Lemon Grove where they have a limoncello distillery. If you are looking for luxury then this is the hotel for you!

We got married and the grand royal on Friday 25th October, the hotel was stunning and the staff were lovely and so helpful! All our guest loved the hotel it exceeded our expectations for our wedding day. We will be returning to sorrento and will always stay at this hotel, the room was beautiful, spacious and clean.

Great location close to everything (within walking distance) and comfortable beds round a lovely pool. Nice staff especially Lorenza who went above and beyond to recommend us restaurants. Good choice at breakfast and a chef was there to cook eggs and omelettes too. I liked our room and it was reasonably priced. Prosecco was provided on arrival which was a nice touch for our honeymoon. Stunning bar with wonderful views and live music on multiple nights which was appreciated.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was expensive and more than we've ever spent before but it was so worth it. The hotel is beautiful, the sun deck and pools are amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We only ate breakfast in the hotel, but there was everything you could have wanted. Cocktails on the terrace overlooking the bay of Naples was an exceptional experience.

This is an exceptional property. From the second we walked through the doors, til the car arriving to transport us back to the airport in Naples, we were fortunate enough to enjoy every aspect the Grand Hotel Royal had to offer. It will now be our go to property on the Almalfi and look forward to returning next year. Cannot rate highly enough.

Amazing dream views and a great location with an easy 5 minute walk into the main area for shopping and restaurants. Staff were 5 stars and very helpful. The food on offer, the drinks at the bar and the pool was a welcome relief after a hot day of seeing what the area has too offer
