Since the property is located in the middle of the Savannah it is highly recommended to check in before 6 pm. Please note that driving in the lagoon at night can present a risk of quagmire.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. If you are looking for a real natural experience and a unique and tranquil place to stay, then this place is perfect! Really off side from noise and lots of people, beautiful nature around (Baobabs, river at the end of the lagoon, birds). The main house with the restaurant has beautiful places to sit inside and outside; the pool is not deep and with salty water, but a nice refreshment. Meals were very good, especially lunch and dinner (dish is suggested and discussed, freshly cooked). The room was nicely decorated and very cosy and clean, some steps away from the main house. Staff (Celine from far and Ibou on site) was very helpful and kind, helped with all activities we wanted to do (arrangement of transport to the airport and to Somone, reservation for a pirogue tour through the lagoon and a horse ride along the beach). Highly recommendable!
