where to start? Welcomed by Andrew and his lovely wife, we immediatly felt at home. Imagine a safe place, car inside the fence, beautiful. private house with wonderful view to the sourronding mountains. Add a pool, a luxery deck, a family looking to spoil you, and open enough to spent the evening with you. Spice it with spotless clean rooms, spacious and comfortable beds. In the morning the best breakfast we ever had on the entire trip. And the whole place is cliose to beach, airport and some top wineries, bit you will need a car. It was more and more than perfect.

It was really clean and the setup made for a relaxing, quiet stay. Even though it's a guest house, the room looked like a hotel room which was quite nice. We completely forgot about the pool because it's on the other side, would've been nice to have relaxed there the evening. The bed was nice and big, and so comfortable!

Matilda and Andre were very welcoming hosts and made one feel comfortable right away. Room and facilities were exceptionally clean, well appointed and well equipped. Privacy assured. Breakfast was delicious. Located in a quiet area but easily accessible and very central to routes into Somerset West, Stellenbosch and Cape Town. Definitely to be recommended

SomerZicht is a wonderful, value-for-money stay in Somerset West. The staff were warm, welcoming and professional and the room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also delicious!

Beautiful rooms,comfortable beds ,very clean and tidy . Lovely views , big screen tv ,great amenities ( awesome hair dryer , a good few mirrors for make up , delicious breakfast )

I had not booked breakfast as part of my stay as I was attending the funeral of my best friend's husband - my emotions were not on their best, I must confess. I only arranged breakfast quite late for Sunday morning and my request was accommodated with the necessary care and professionalism by Buhle who was on duty that morning. It was delicious and I could literally taste the love with which it was prepared.
