The rooms are very nice and cool, whether you have the aircon on or not. It has all the amenities one would expect to have. We loved our stay!

The comfortable room, beds, bathroom in a spacious setting. A most lovely courtyard with pool and little chapel. The nearby restaurant offering delicious dinner & breakfast.

The most outstanding feature of this property is the staff, especially Queen, who is one of the happiest and friendliest hosts I have ever met. Apart from that the room I stayed had a decent size, comfortable bed and a good powerful shower which I wasn’t expecting any of those at this remote location.

Solitaire roadhouse is in the tiny settlement of Solitaire that boasts garage facilities, fuel, a general store, a café/restaurant, and a bakery that has what is generally regarded as the best apple crumble in Namibia. The road house itself is beautifully set around a swimming pool and covered recreation area. The staff are exceptionally helpful and I would certainly stay here again. The location is quirky with a number of old cars sitting at the front and ancient road signs adorn the general store.

Perfect for a stopover on the road to and from Sossusvlei. Rooms are very basic but large and clean. Dinner was very good.

Beautiful setting right in Solitaire - convenient for a day trip to Sossusvlei, cheetah sanctuary right opposite is well worth a visit, also McGregors bakery for the famous apple pie was next door. Good value compared to other local options. Excellent buffer dinner and decent breakfast. Large comfortable ground floor rooms in a relaxed cactus garden setting. Friendly staff and local community.

Everything! The garden and the pool, the room and the bathroom, the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant nearby, the bakery next to the lodge. Really great stay on the way from Sossusvlei and Swakopmund.
