The greeting was excellent. I didn't get the name of the young man at Reception but he was very friendly and helpful and made the hotel feel very welcoming.

staff are always friendly and helpful. the restaurant food was delicious and looked really pretty with Christmas decorations as did Harry's. always a lovely spot to meet friends for coffee.

Cleanliness and comfort, had no issues at all. Staff were welcoming. Third time I have stayed here, no issues each time.

“Swimming pool still not open. Kingsize bed mattress sagged in middle and definitely needs replacing.”

Reasonable selection. Room dark even near window but weather not good enough to sit outside. Have stayed before and loved the pool and service. Will come again but check mattress before unpacking! :)

The location was easy to get to the staff were very friendly and helpful the room was very spacious and comfortable and kept warm would definitely come again great value for money

Excellent staff, good location for NEC, traditional/period building with style & character (not a modern sterile box) huge car park, easy access, good value, good breakfast and dinner menu/choice, food orders til 9.30pm good for long working hours, relaxed atmosphere, clean, balanced environments with lively sports bar/quiet restaurant. Would definitely recommend as basically a good, honest place to stay, especially if on a budget. Tom and his team were generally excellent with all the day to day services. Just unfortunate with the kids football event.
