All the reception staff were delightful.Tbey were friendly and very helpful. The pool area was wonderful, loved the views from the affinity pool. Loved the Rick Stein restaurant and again tbe staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was superb. Very comfotable bed, great balcony area with lovely views.

Our room overlooking the water was lovely, such a relaxing environment. Dinner in Cheeky Dog restaurant was fine, the space was a bit barn like, but the barramundi was cooked superbly better than the blue eye cod at Rick Steins which was overcooked. The bed was comfortable and all amenities were good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and enjoyed the welcome glasses of bubbly.

Loved the location and the room was so very comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent room with views straight out of balcony onto gardens and Nelson bay. Beautiful wildlife around. Even saw a baby Koala in a young tree in the gardens. Continental breakfast was excellent but an additional 25$ each. Rick Stein restaurant was excelent.

Beautiful location. The room was spacious, well equipped and stylishly decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the sea view. The beach was an easy walk away

Bannisters Port Stephens always delivers for a relaxing stay within a short distance from Sydney. The day spa was great, as was breakfast, the pool and pool area, the bar service, the staff at breakfast. Large comfortable room, lovely views. I enjoyed pub meals at The Cheeky Dog.
