It has a home from home feel, warm comfortable rooms and a very good kitchen for cooking your own meals. Plus laundry on site and computer usage. Come visit the resident cat!

I had a wonderful stay at Hostel Mostel in Sofia, Bulgaria. The room rates are very affordable, and the hostel’s strategic location near many of Sofia’s landmarks makes it an excellent choice for travelers. They offer a breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price, with delicious and satisfying food that’s perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring the city. Additionally, the laundry service is convenient and affordable. One of the standout features of Hostel Mostel is its common area. It’s a warm, vibrant space where travelers from around the world gather to interact, laugh, and share meals. The sense of community is truly heartwarming and reminded me of my college residence days. What impressed me the most was the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were always welcoming and provided fantastic recommendations for places to visit in Sofia. They were also incredibly accommodating during my last-minute emergency stay due to some unexpected travel hiccups. Among the staff, I’d like to give a special shoutout to Tod, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and stress-free. Thank you Tod for your outstanding service! Overall, Hostel Mostel offers not only excellent value for money but also a memorable and enriching experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Sofia!

Hostel Mostel offers an amazing atmosphere at an incredibly affordable price. The common areas, like the one with the photo and artwork board, are full of character and creativity, making it a great space to meet fellow travelers. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the shared meals provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with others. The central location made it easy to explore Sofia.
