The hotel was full of character. We were made welcome as soon as we arrived. It wasn't a modern building being quite an old established hotel but that was fine with me.

Lovely breakfast Very central location On site parking Use of gym and pool facilities Stayed in 2 different rooms during trip - both warm and clean and comfortable, one appeared to have had an upgrade with newer decor but rooms were perfect. Coffee and tea in room. Good size rooms.

The breakfast was superb; the waiters are considerate to give a pot of tea or coffee upon request and the buffet had not left me with an empty stomach. The leisure facilities are also exceptional and the staff are more than happy to guide me through their way of operation. Although I chose to go in for the most quieter times before closure. The bar food is also great.

I am a regular visitor to Sligo for family events. I particularly stay in the Sligo Southern if I am arriving or leaving by train or bus. It is right next to the train & bus station. It is also a short walk to the town centre. The hotel has classic decor and is clean & comfortable. The welcome packet of Tato's is a nice touch!! There are sofas in the lounges and a bar area. I have never eaten there. The rooms are comfortable with enormous beds & excellent pillows. Good bedside lights.
