Excellent views and hospitality by Mr Antonis. The balcony of windmill offers serenity. Super close to chora and surrounding beaches.

The Mantalena is an apartment complex and we had booked the converted windmill which had stunning views of the nearby beach from it's balcony. Antonis was a great host who was a mine of local information. the accommodation was cleaned and laundry changed every couple of days. There is ample parking. For those who don't know Skyros it is quite an underpopulated island that meanders over ten miles or so from Skyros town up the east coast. There is a smattering of accommodations on the west coast, near Limani, the port but it is more limited. The Mantalena is at the very northern and of the coastal road and is quiet and peaceful, therefore I would recommend a car or similar transport to facilitate supermarkets etc., The nearest taverna is approximately 15 minutes drive away. It is worth bearing in mind that a windmill is generally situated in a windy position so it can be breezy on the balcony although the Complex itself ha more sheltered public areas available. For those who prefer solitude it is absolutely perfect

Skyros is such a gorgeous island. Great welcome from Adonis and Jason. Downstairs shower is one of the best ever! Villa is nicely decorated with original artwork. Great insect screens! Roof terrace perfect for evening drinks. Easy 5 min walk to the beach for a swim. Perfect for morning, though we tended to go to Molos later in the day for the facilities. Plenty of parking. The garden is colourful, beautiful and well maintained. Thank you so much Adonis. Very best wishes to you and your family

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Mantalena. The villa is charming, clean, and well-equipped. The location offers beautiful views and easy access to local attractions. Mr Antonis was friendly and helpful, enhancing our experience. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Skyros.
