The location was perfect. It is situated within 10 minutes walk to Skogafoss waterfalls, and another 3-5 minutes drive to Kvernufoss Waterfall. The house exceeded my expectations. The picture was probably outdated or doesn't do its justice. It is bigger than what I anticipated. They have a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious common area. We got to see aurora on our arrival day to this place and it was magical! Truly an unforgettable experience

Perfect location, a wonderful views from the waterfall view room. Very warm with lovely facilities and a very nice breakfast. We were able to leave the hotel at 2am to catch the Northern Lights right outside! This was also a great location to get to Sólheimajökull in the morning for a glacier hike.
