Great location for exploring the Dales and so easy to get to. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent food and comfortable bar with friendly staff and locals making a very convivial place to stay.

Nice village on the outskirts of Settle. Has a train station to access Settle if needed. Friendly local pet friendly pub with accommodation with well supported entertainment on on the night we stayed (snakes and ladders pub quiz. Good food and reasonable bar prices.Nice walks from the door to exercise our dog.

Great location. Easy access to the Dales and easy drive from the M6. Lovely old world pub immaculate throughout. Great food and drink. Friendly staff that were welcoming and made guests feel at home.

Set in a quiet village near the train station for the Settle Carlisle railway. Lovely cosy pub. The room was good and nicely decorated. Evening meal was delicious.

Food service & selection was good. Staff good polite helpful. Despite being on the main road & overlooking the busy trucks it was very quiet with what looked like 4X Glass thickness for sound proofing. Being an old building the sloping floors upstairs were quite a novelty. This was the only pub in town and had regulars enjoying themselves every night with no noise at sleep time.
