Friendly check in, lovely simple interior, very comfortable room. The continental breakfast was exceptional with lovely homemade options. Honourable mention to the homemade pastries, so delicious! The staff were all so engaging and warm. The gym facilities overlooking the lake were an unexpected bonus. We had a very special time.

Beautiful manor in wonderful grounds. Rooms very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet poor but cooked breakfast very good. We would have liked a bar menu available in the evening. Golf carts available to explore the grounds.

Staff genuinely helpful (no scripted responses)Both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Whilst staff were obviously working in a pressure situation during service the atmosphere was calm.Nothing too much trouble 🤩

Breakfast was superb, great options and just so delicious, mouth watering flavours! Wonderful buffet to choose from as well as a set menu to order from. Well worth it! The bed was so comfortable, great size mattress! The bathroom is beautifully redecorated with both bath and shower, stunning quality through and through. Staff were so wonderful and caring, especially Jessie and Connor. We were offered prosecco on arrival by Jessie and it was a very nice touch to the start of our stay. Thank you also to the bar man, I am so sorry but we did not get his name. He was also so warm and inviting.

Liss ard estate is located within a 5 minute drive from the picturesque Skibbereen. The grounds host a beautiful lake and sky garden, with saunas and kayaks for the guests pleasure. The dinner was beautiful with duck, beef cheek and salmon to name but a few. The staff are so friendly and accomodating esp, the night porter Paul, Receptionist Mary and waiter Alex. We were made to feel like VIP's. We will certainly be back.

The estate is just beautiful as is the main Georgian building which we stayed in. Loved the food and 4 poster bed. Sky Garden is a must.

The room was brilliant and the hotel grounds were great to wander around during the day. The food at both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was second to none.
