The remote location on such a significant village on Iceland’s history. The room was comfortable, the heated bathroom floor was a plus and the hot tub even though it was too hot for my taste… The restaurant had yummy food for dinner and breakfast had a really good buffet too.

Fabulous location. Beautiful rooms with calm atmosphere. Very well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff. Great dinner in Hvonn the onsite restaurant and good breakfast too. Loved the peace and quiet and the surroundings.

Very nice place ! Nested in a tiny village of a few houses that used to be Iceland’s capital, the staff is happy to share the story of the area. Rooms are spacious, common areas have some charm, and the restaurant offers great soup. Very quiet area with great views.

This place is like from a post card, located on top of the hill with nice view, next to nice church. Room was spacious and clean and there was also a hot tub and common rooms available for relaxation. Great hotel restaurant was also a nice place to have some food and drinks in.
