Comfortable accomodation Location good.Not that far away from Selfoss as long as you have a car. Friendly hosts. Enjoyed visiting the goats with host. Spectacular northern lights while we were there

Very nice place to stay! big room and bathroom . Kitchen well equiped. Nice position. Helena has been a very kind host. We needed a can opener, which was not in the kitchen, and Stefan was happy to help. We missed the goat tour, but we had the opportunity to meet the goats the following morning. Very nice, Indeed.

The room was large and clean, which was nice. The bathroom was also clean and felt new. The host was friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. I had a chance to see aurora.

The kids loved to interact with the goats which was definitely the highlight at Skálatjörn. The room was basic and not too big but just right for what we paid for and what we needed for 2 nights. Quiet location. Helpful to have a kitchenette in the room. There was already some basic things in the kitchen such as oil and salt (not sure this is standard in every room though, but it was in ours).
