We had the room at the top of the house with an excellent roof terrace and panoramic views. Stefano was the perfect host.

Everything was perfect. The room is very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything needed. Stefano is very helpful host, he provided us with all the information about the area. Also the homemade breakfast was very delicious!

Absolutely loved it here! Stefano is a brilliant host, would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to stay in the area!, if you hire a car it is much easier to get around, lovely family run B&B

From the very moment we made the reservation, we were in very nice contact with our host Stefano. He provided a lot of information on location, environment, restaurant, sightseeing, beaches, etc. Furthermore, he made us feel at home (!!) and prepared a very nice, big and fresh breakfast (each day something different). Much effort was put into decorating the rooms, preserving the original elements.

We had an amazing stay at B&B le Saline. Stefano is an amazing host. We were spoilt with delicious breakfast every day, a mix of bruschetta, cakes, freshly baked by his mum, fruit, and jam made by his aunt. The best breakfast we've had in Sicily! The rooms were spacious with great comfy beds and free parking on site. Thank you so much Stefano and family for our stay, we felt like home and hope to get back!

Stefano was a very friendly, welcoming and accommodating host, who provided the most wonderful breakfasts. Communications before we arrived at Le Saline were effective, and allowed Stefano to leave our keys in a locked key box as he was out when we arrived - all very straightforward and easy. There was ample parking in the area outside the B&B. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a nice bathroom and a good shower - and a proper bathroom cabinet, which was great! We had access to an enormous terrace with good views in every direction, comfortable seating and a proper cover for shade (which we needed). There were also mosquito screens on the terrace doors, which meant that we could leave them open at night for fresh air, instead of having to use the air con. We could see right across the nature reserve and across to Siracusa in the distance, and although we didn’t actually see a flamingo we heard them! Breakfast was available in the garden every morning, although there was the choice of an indoor sitting area if the weather didn’t allow alfresco eating. Everything Stefano served was freshly made by him (apart from the lovely cake, which was made by his mum, and the jams made by his cousin!), and he provided something different and amazing every day, with full allowances made for allergies and dietary preferences, which were all checked out in advance. The B&B is very creatively decorated and I loved the decor and the quirky colours. All the different areas are very well maintained with a clever use of space. Le Saline is definitely not suitable for guests with no transport, as it is a little way out of Siracusa/Ortigia, but this suited us very well, as it was extremely peaceful. We drove in and out of Ortigia twice a day and really enjoyed our relaxing afternoons on the terrace. Stefano advised us about parking, which was easy to access and not at all expensive. We loved our few days at Le Saline and very much hope to return sometime.

I stayed in the “blue” room which is located in the small house at backyard next to a lovely garden, very quiet, very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is very good, especially the homemade juice. Host is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
