The breakfast was amazing. Rose put a lot of effort into preparing the food. There was a variety of cold meats, fruits etc. to choose from. The hot breakfast was prepared very good.

Great place to retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Rose is an excellent host and always enquired about about our needs. The fireplace and heated floors is certainly a great addition and was much needed for the cold nights. The rooms were a decent size with a very spacious main bedroom and ensuit.

The location was very convenient, the view and surrounding forest was amazing, friendly staff and Rose went out of her way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable.

The view is amazing! Beautiful trees one side and amazing coast view on the other. Rose was wonderful and so welcoming. We arrived a bit late due to our flight but she waited patiently for us. The property is in a secure estate and we felt very safe. The room was wonderful with a very comfy bed. We had a great nights rest. We had a tasty breakfast the next morning before our departure.

The setting of the lodge is wonderful with views of Hunter’s bay and a mountain backdrop. Rose was very accommodating for our late arrival and gave us a very warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent and we should have booked a longer stay!

It is very peaceful and quiet. The hostess was very attentive and went out of her way to ensure our comfort. The breakfast was much better than I expected. The panoramic views are absolutely amazing.
