I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone planning to stay in Sintra. It’s close to station and easy walking to the old town. The breakfast improved at cafe saudade and the staff, service and food there is simply delicious, you’ll be full until dinner!! You can grab a tuk Tuk outside the cafe right up to Palace Pena which is a great start for a morning. The accommodation is very good value and the bed was very comfortable after a days walking. We didn’t have a view from our room but given the weather when we visited it really want a major factor. You can pay extra for a room overlooking the garden which I’m Sure is worth it in the summer months. Sintra is beautiful I hope you enjoy your stay as mush as we did.

We liked everything. The room is spacious enough, clean, a very large and comfortable bed. The room is warm, beautiful. We were upgraded by the hotel to a comfortable floor for me due to my limitations. Good and tasty breakfast.

The chalet is a historical building yet very comfortable and cozy. The hosts also provided tips, such as recommended restaurants, that proved to be useful indeed.

A little hard to find as we were looking for a hotel, it’s more of a manor house that doesn’t have street signage. We stayed several nights. The hotel is excellent. Staff go out of their way to help. Owner is great, she provided early breakfast at her restaurant on the next block so we could meet our early departure. Thought it would be more like a bag breakfast, but it was the normal full monte. Breakfast is very good and quite substantial at the owner’s coffee shop/restaurant, not in the hotel. This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks travelling Portugal.
